D.A. Green & Sons Limited is one of the East Midland's largest and longest established structural engineering companies and as such can offer a comprehensive quality service to meet most requirements. Occupying a twenty acre site, our factory covers more than 167,000 ft2 (15,500 m2). With a highly skilled workforce, operating the most up-to-date computerised equipment, we are able to accommodate the largest and most complex structures.

The company comprises two divisions:
The Structural division is dedicated to the design, fabrication and erection of structural steelwork and has capacity for 1000 tonnes of fabricated steelwork each month for varied contracts throughout the UK.
The Cladding Division offers a comprehensive cladding and roofing service within a 60 mile radius of Whaplode.
Working together we can provide our clients with a better service maintaining tighter control and more comprehensive prices on package deals, including ancillary items such as doors, fire-protection and metal decking.

For D.A. Green & Sons Limited to progressively expand for many years as a strong independent Company with a greater commitment to clients and with a greater fulfilment to all employees and regular subcontractors.

Any employee found to have committed such harassment will be liable to disciplinary action which could result in dismissal.

Any employee who fails to observe the provisions of this policy or who unfairly discriminates against another employee, applicant for employment or member of the public will be subject to disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal.

TRAINING POLICY
The Company recognises the contribution which training makes to the effectiveness of its employees at all levels and is committed to make such provisions within the limit of the annual budget. It will ensure that employees not only receive the necessary training to carry out their duties safely and effectively but also receive training that will enable the Company to develop and expand with increased efficiency. QUALITY ASSURANCE POLICY

Provide steelwork, cladding and services which satisfy the clients needs and are in accordance with contractual and legislative requirements.

Provide Company manuals and procedures which not only identify and apply quality requirements to EN ISO 9001 but define inter department activities which have been developed over many years of experience.

Continually review and update these procedures and manuals.

Maintain a Quality Management system which meets the requirements of BS Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.

Provide adequate training to ensure that all employees understand and implement the DAGS Quality Policy and are fully aware of its commitment to the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.

Ensure that its Suppliers and Subcontractors implement the necessary Quality Management System elements appropriate to their work.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Principles:
This company is committed to protecting and enhancing the environment on its property and in its operations where it is directly responsible to the client. Where it is responsible to a Principal Client or Agent it will fully support their policy.

Methods:
Minimise nuisance to adjacent properties from litter, noise and deleterious substances.

Reduce the release of volatile organic compounds into the atmosphere using best available techniques not entailing excessive cost.

Wherever possible utilise re-cycling services for waste products (steel, paper, timber etc).

Maintain Certificate of Registration for the safe carriage of controlled waste.

Maintain all vehicles and plant to a standard to minimise impact through noise and pollution from exhaust emissions.

Ensure that measures laid down in the Health & Safety Policy and Method Statements are enforced to protect employees, other workers, visitors and the public from unacceptable risks.
